Brant Imperatore- Financial Services, Capital Markets, and Derivatives Policy
In his work for clients, Brant Imperatore has been intimately involved with a broad range of financial services issues including derivatives, mortgage reform, financial crisis response, accounting, insurance, tax, anti-money laundering, bank regulation, and consumer data. Prior to acting as Partner and General Counsel for The Cypress Group, he directed a large government relations firm's financial services practice; BA, University of Virginia; JD, Tulane; MBA, Darden.

King Mueller- Tax and Housing Finance Policy
King Mueller is Managing Director of The Cypress Group focusing on consumer finance, housing and budget policy, and leading our tax practice. King came to Cypress from Dome Advisors which he co-founded to provide investment managers with actionable insight into policy decisions in Washington. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Banking & Finance in the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Legislative Affairs during which he represented the Secretary and other senior department officials before Congressional members and their staffs in efforts to pass such landmark legislation as the Housing and Economic Recovery Act (leading to the conservatorships of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) and the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act (authorizing TARP). He formerly served as a policy aide and tax counsel to Senate Minority Whip Trent Lott, a prominent member of the Senate Finance Committee. Prior to that, he was a policy advisor to the majority House Republican Conference; BA, College of Charleston; JD/MBA, University of South Carolina.

Jim Freeman- Housing Finance Policy
Jim Freeman came to Cypress with over 17 years of experience in public policy concentrating in financial services. Previously Jim served as the Senior Legislative Representative for the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Before this post, Jim worked as the Director of Legislative Counsel at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). In regards to GSE experience, Jim has multiple communication channels on behalf of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) on GSE reform; BA and Masters, Indiana University.

Greg McIlvaine- Financial Services Policy
Before joining Cypress Group, Greg worked as a policy advisor to Members on the House and Senate Appropriations Committees; BA, Vanderbilt; MBA, Darden.
