Patrick Ottenhoff focuses on capital markets and fintech issues, and develops, executes, and manages Government Relations Strategic Plans for large financial institutions. In these roles, he helps advance legislative and public policy priorities and engages key stakeholder groups in the government and the private sector. Patrick joined Cypress after graduating from Georgetown McDonough School of Business, and also worked at UBS, PayPal/eBay, and Bloomberg Government. Prior to those roles, Patrick focused on public affairs at New Media Strategies, where was a frequent guest on C-SPAN, and was a staff writer at National Journal’s The Hotline. He has advised a number of political campaigns and volunteered for the pro-business non-profit Virginia FREE in his home state. Patrick received his BA from Union College and MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and resides in Washington, DC with his wife.
